About this Event
Join our beginner-friendly adult lino printing day and let Lou—an experienced art teacher with 25 years of expertise—guide you from the fundamentals through to creating a more developed print. You’ll learn how to use lino-cutting tools safely and confidently, gain practical carving skills, and explore techniques that help you visualise your design in raised and carved areas. You will create a beautiful nature-inspired professional print to take home with you.
With growing confidence, you’ll have the chance to experiment with colour, layering, and mark-making to create prints that reflect your own style.
All specialist materials are provided. This workshop is ideal for complete beginners as well as those with some prior lino printing experience. This event will run for 4 hours, with a lunch break - 10:30am - 3pm. Please bring a packed lunch. Snacks and drinks can be bought from the Visitor Centre upstairs.
