Join Sandy for ANOTHER 4-week Line Dancing Series at SoulBarre Studio! Dates are November 4, 11, 18 and December 2 (no class Thanksgiving Week)In this fun and inclusive series, you'll learn a variety of line dances and partner patterns suitable for beginners and those at a beginner plus levels. No partner needed – just come ready to dance and have a great time!
What to wear? Be totally comfortable and bring a water bottle. Studio friendly shoes with smooth soles are recommended for dancing. Just make sure that you can do the twist, go sideways, and backwards with ease. Leather soled cowboy boots ok, too, but make sure they won’t leave marks on the floor. (If they do, we’ll have to ask you dance in your socks.)
If you are planning to wear street shoes to dance in, please double-check the soles for debris before entering the studio. And if it is wet outside, please carry in dry shoes to dance in. We want to help SoulBarre Studio keep their beautiful dance floor pristine.
For those of you who want to practice at home, Sandy always e-mails out homework the next day… homework which will include handwritten stepsheets (by yours truly) and Copperknob/YouTube links for all dances taught. Did I say YeeHaw?
For those of you who aren’t familiar with partner pattern dance, they are line dances usually done with a partner BUT it is totally acceptable to do this dance by yourself. The 10-Step is the most popular partner pattern dance. Other popular partner pattern dances are Cowboy ChaCha, Wooden Nickel, Horseshoe Shuffle, and more. That’s the beauty of line dancing.. we DON’T have to wait to be asked to dance or have a partner to dance with. We can just get out on the dance floor and dance!

The studio will not be able to accommodate drop ins. Everyone must be pre-registered. This is an Ages 15+ event.
