Basically, we're inviting you to take a vacation with us. Dance events can be exciting, extremely fun, and super fulfilling, but the more I talk to people, the more I realize what we often don't have time or bandwidth for is the thing we want most, real connections with our friends.
.... so I'm inviting you to come along to a very special kind of event. It's a vacation first. Relax and get pampered at an all inclusive resort. Don't worry about dinner reservations, if the kids will be bored, or trekking all over to "make the most of the time". Take care of you first.
Secondly, its a time to connect with your other half, your kids, and your friends. Can we please normalize taking vacations with friends? Geez. I'm childless and unmarried. Does that mean I vacation alone? I hope not.
Third, dance if and when you want to. There are workshops, dance parties on the beach, opportunities to learn tango, salsa, and of course, jazz dances too, as well as opportunities to learn choreo and push yourselves, but also, there are opportunities to simply ... NOT. There no contests, no packed schedules, just you doing what you want to when you want to with friends, old and new.
