This special 5 week series with feature 4 weeks with Scott Angelius, Kelly Arsenault, and Jen Arth digging deeper into connection and the way that we lead and follow some of the most foundational moves of Lindy Hop. If you're new to downstairs lessons, be certain to attend week 1 to learn a few of the moves we'll be working with for the rest of the series. Joining after the first week will be very different for new dancers who have only attended beginner lessons.
The KSDA focuses on the swing dance style born in 1930's Harlem from the Black dancers of the Savoy Ballroom, Lindy Hop. If you've attended a beginner drop-in lesson with us, you've done Lindy Hop!
Series classes meet every Wednesday downstairs at the Laurel Theater. Classes are $8 a night ($2 discount for cardholders) and include admission to the dance. Purchase the month of lessons to receive one week free. Local students can request a free benefit card!
