This class is a four-week series focused on learning and developing the fundamental moves and technique of Lindy Hop - the swing out and circle, basic variations, and tranistioning between 6- and 8-count moves. Whether you've worked on swing outs before or they're brand new for you, this class will help you hone your swing out skills. We highly recommend dancers take this class several times to build a strong lindy hop foundation. Or if you’ve been dancing for years, this a great opportunity for a tune up!Prerequisite: 4-5 months of beginning swing, or instructor approval. You should be comfortable with the triple step, the basics of swing partner connection, and common moves like an underarm pass or tuck turn. Unsure you're ready? Just ask a Vermont Swings instructor at any upcoming event.
