No prior experience is needed. Absolute beginners are welcome. No need to bring your own dance partners.
Swing Toronto offers two types of Lindy Hop beginner courses, one emphasizes 8-count patterns, the other 6-count patterns. These are the two main rhythm patterns in Lindy Hop.
You can these two courses in either order, and could take both of them in the same session of courses. Taking one or both of them twice, perhaps with different teachers, can be very helpful and fun.
Once you have taken each of them at least once, you can take our Intermediate 1 courses.
PRICE
$130, $105 for full-time students with ID
- Drop-in charge for a single class for those who have already taken a course in 8-count Lindy Hop: $25
- Intermediate and advanced level Lindy Hop students are welcome to taxi at no charge.
