Intermediate-Advanced course - Develop a deeper connection between the music and your dancing.Getting away from fixed patterns or “moves” towards exploring the underlying principles of the dance. It should benefit and speak to any level beyond beginner. It's a principle-driven class, we deep dive into topics like momentum, elasticity, rhythm, pulse, weight transfer and frame. It's exploratory: Using and learning new moves, you are encouraged to experiment with how a concept can shape your movement, connection and improvise with it. We aim for transferable skills - so instead of just learning a move, you learn why something works and how to apply it in other figures. Last but not least, we aim for on musical and relational skills. E.g. on how partners communicate, how to embody rhythm, and how to interpret the music. This sounds exciting to you ?
