The Mighty Cash Cats Johnny Cash Show, endorsed by the Cash Family, was inducted into the
California Music Hall of Fame in 2023 in a ceremony hosted by William Shatner. The band brings
to life the full Johnny Cash experience—from his early Sun Records hits to his iconic final
recordings—along with fun and sassy Johnny and June duets like “Jackson,” plus the stories
behind the songs that made Johnny Cash a legend. As the Ventura Star wrote, “Michael Jay
sounds and looks just like the Man in Black, and his Johnny and June duets with Leticia put
these Cats on top.” They’ve toured in the USA, including Las Vegas, and Europe, and were
featured on the German TV show RTL Punkt12.
