Join the ResLife team for a walk around the city centre at night time to see the Lincoln Lights this February.

The festival is open between 5.30-9pm on Thursday 19th, Friday 20th and Saturday 21st February 2026.

Frequency takes place in Lincoln’s pedestrianised city centre, offering an easy and accessible walking route between installations. The full festival route is a leisurely 30 minute walk from Cornhill to the Castle, with extra time encouraged to pause, explore, and enjoy each captivating installation along the way.

It’s February. It’s cold. Some of the festival experiences take place outside, so wrap up warm!

Come along and see Lincoln in a whole new light.

This is a chance to have a break from your studies, get some fresh air, and have a chat with the ResLife team.

Make sure to dress appropriately for the weather & wear appropriate footwear for walking.

We will meet at the ResLife Lounge in Cygnet Wharf at 5:45pm & will be leaving at approx 6:00pm.The Lounge will be open from 5:45pm so you can grab a hot drink before we set off!

Please note, this walk will take place in the dark & will be around the city centre so dress for the weather & wear sensible footwear for waking around Lincoln & climbing Steep Hill!

As with all of our events if you can no longer attend then please cancel your ticket on Eventbrite at least 24hours in advance so that we can reallocate your space to a student on our waiting list. If you do not attend & don't cancel your ticket you may be unable to attend bookable ResLife events in the future and your tickets may be cancelled.
