Under the mysticism of the European temples, we will welcome the emblematic Greek lyricist Lina Nikolakopoulou, who keeps alive the beauty of Greek song for 40 years, in a unique concert that will take place in Luxembourg à l' Église de la Trinité . The concert is part of her Tour in Benelux.Two exceptional singers, Argyro Kaparou and Teti Kasioni, will perform songs of our great lyricist accompanied by classical musical instruments, in a repertoire harmonized with the atmosphere of the Paleiskerk.
Thymios Papadopoulos, the Greek virtuoso of wind instruments, has taken over the orchestration and music editing and will be on stage with the soloist musicians Giorgos Athanasiou on classical guitar and Stavros Parginos on cello and mandolin.
The actors Anna Psara and Elias Konteas will be at the lectern and will read texts by our great lyricist, and the Choir of the Hellenic Community of Luxembourg under the direction of Mària Devitzaki will also be present at this great moment.
The uniqueness of this concert is that part of Lina’s repertoire will be presented for the first time in the French language alongside the Greek version of the songs.
