Info: Campers will design and build their very own animal habitats using blocks, cardboard, and a variety of fun sensory materials. From cozy dens to jungle scenes, children will use their imagination to create homes for their favorite animals.

Wednesday- Elachee Animal Guest Day (On-Site Visit)
Info: Campers will participate in a special guest experience designed to be both exciting and supportive! Before the visit, children will review a social story, practice using “safe hands” and quiet listening, and preview a visual schedule to help them feel prepared and confident. During the guest visit, campers may enjoy a live animal presentation (if available), with staff providing gentle prompting, regulation support, and clear safety boundaries throughout. After the visit, campers will reflect on their experience through drawing their favorite animal, participate in a question-and-answer circle, and practice giving compliments using simple scripts like “I liked when…”.

Thursday- Cooperative Animal Games

Friday- Animal Celebration Stations
Info: Campers will wrap up Animal Week Summer Camp with an exciting, choice-based station rotation designed to build independence and confidence! Children will move through engaging activities like habitat sensory play, an animal craft remix, a gross motor safari course, and a hands-on “build-a-zoo” challenge.
As they transition between stations, campers will practice independent transitions while continuing to strengthen cooperative play and expressive confidence.
