About this Event
Join us as we kick off the Spring Queer Arts Festival (SQAF) with LIMITLESS: A Queer Fashion Show, produced by Yanni Brumfield (@yxnibrmp) in partnership with Queer Cultural Center (QCC). This opening event beautifully carries us into this year’s theme, Pleasure in the Storm, exploring queer approaches to joy, resilience, and community connection amid today’s cultural and political challenges.
A trans multidisciplinary artist and event producer dedicated to uplifting marginalized communities, Yanni redefines fashion as a medium for liberation. LIMITLESS uplifts marginalized bodies, centering Black and brown queer identities, and embracing the beauty of all forms.
In a world that polices bodies and expression, LIMITLESS creates a space of pure joy, authenticity, and empowerment. Step into a night where style is resistance, where identity is art, and where queerness shines beyond boundaries. Start the festival with a celebration of radical self-expression and boundless pleasure.
Ceremony is an ADA-accessible venue. Public transportation options include AC Transit bus lines and the nearby 19th St. Oakland BART station for easy access.
