About this Event
Bring your pre-schooler to explore the farm and learn handmade pizza making with Don Guerra of Barrio Bread!
We will start our morning on the farm harvesting and washing fresh veggies. Then we will head to the TVF Kitchen to make shareable-sized pizzas with Don. Each child/parent combo will receive a pre-measured portion of Don's fresh pizza dough, ready to roll out and top with delicious fresh TVF ingredients. While our pizzas are baking, we will stroll over to meet the new goats and chickens in the TVF Animal Education Center. When the pizzas are finished baking, we will have a picnic on the patio and enjoy the beautiful mountain views from the TVF Patio.
The class will take place on the back patio of the Tucson Village Farm 4-H Healthy Living Center located at 2201 E. Roger Rd.
We will refund tickets up to 7 days prior to the event. After that, your ticket becomes non-refundable.
