Aya Akkari is a leadership coach credentialed by the International Coaching Federation, an emotional resilience mentor, and an organizational leadership specialist. Prior to starting coaching practice, Aya Akkari worked as a high-performing healthcare professional and team leader. Ultimately, leadership within the healthcare profession includes being compassionate, listening to others, and communicating effectively with team members and patients. An evidence-based researcher conducted two research projects as an undergraduate on the surface treatment of dental implants. The dedicated award winner claimed the First Prize in the Unilever Hatton Competition of the International Association of Dental Research. And was also conferred with the Tony Costello Memorial Medal for dental research. A Results-driven Leadership development trainer and coach adept at managing internal knowledge transfer through effective training of new leaders.

She Graduated in 2018, with Honors and a master’s degree in organizational leadership from National University. Her master's research/ thesis was focused on studying the opportunities and the challenges facing minority female leaders. She also holds the Train the Trainer Certification from the Association of Talent Development, and has completed a 12-month Emotional Resilience Mentorship certification program as well as the PCC level training for the International Coaching Federation with 3D Coaching Academy.
