JW Marriott San Antonio Hill Country Resort & Spa presents its annual Light Up The Night celebration on Saturday November 22 at 6 PM! Perfect for the whole family this unforgettable evening will kick off the resort’s annual Hill Country Christmas experiences.
The festive extravaganza promises to deliver pure magic beginning with a visit from Santa Claus himself who will lead the crowd in an exciting countdown to illuminate the resort’s brand new 50+ foot tall Christmas Tree. Guests are invited to sip savor and celebrate the season with refreshments at the new pop-up “Tree Farm Bar” located on the back patio by the Main Event Lawn. Soak in the twinkling lights and cheerful ambiance as you enjoy this merry gathering!
Light Up The Night is a free event that is open to all guests and will take place on the Main Event Lawn. While the event is complimentary please note that parking fees apply: $19 when purchased online in advance or $29 at the gate.
Guests will also be treated to a first look at the return of its popular immersive Christmas experience in a dazzling winter wonderland crafted from 2 million pounds of hand-carved ice and kept at a frosty 9 degrees Fahrenheit. To stay warm guests will be provided with signature blue parkas to wear while enjoying the experience. Wander among vibrant hand-carved displays rich with intricate details glide down thrilling two-story ice slides and discover countless photo-worthy moments along the way.
Keep the season cheers going! From November 22 2025 to January 4 2026 experience the magic of caroling door to door in the spectacular Here We Glow A-Caroling Light Show. Nightly at 6:30 p.m. 7:30 p.m. and 8:30 p.m. thousands of glowing lights and a custom score create a unique journey through past holiday celebrations. Enjoy a dazzling high-energy sing-along finale and make memories that glow beyond the holidays!
