Light Up the Night is a combined holiday celebration that includes the Hopewell Christmas Parade, grand illumination of Ashford Civic Plaza, and downtown holiday festival. The event is free and open the the public. The parade will begin at 4:00 p.m. and travel from Cavalier Square Shopping Center to the Ashford Civic Plaza. The grand illumination of the City’s Christmas tree will follow the conclusion of the parade and will take place at the plaza, located in front of City Hall. Afterwards, a variety of activities like visits with Santa and train rides will be held throughout downtown and at the Hopewell Library.
