We warmly welcome you to join the second "Light Talks in Tallinn" seminar, taking place on 04/04/2025 at the historical venue of Estonian Writer's Union in the heart of Tallinn Old Town!This year's seminar will be examining the nuances of architectural lighting design in outdoor spaces under the title of "𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗥𝗼𝗹𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗴𝗵𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗗𝗲𝘀𝗶𝗴𝗻 𝗶𝗻 𝗨𝗿𝗯𝗮𝗻 𝗘𝗻𝘃𝗶𝗿𝗼𝗻𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀".
The aim of this seminar is to foster an open discussion about what has already been achieved and proven successful in urban lighting design – as well as to explore the current state and future directions of the field. In order to create a versatile discussion, we have invited three of the leading professionals in Europe to spark curiosity and inspire the audience on their own lighting design journey. The day will conclude with a panel discussion, bringing all the voices together.
Our keynote speakers are:
💡Roger Narboni (FR) – urban lighting design pioneer, founder of Light Urbanism discipline and lighting master plan (LMP) methodology
💡Dr Thomas Römhild (DE) – professor for M.A. Architectural Lighting Design & Management at Hochschule Wismar
💡Dwayne Waggoner (US) – lighting designer and a guest lecturer at Hochschule Wismar
