The Light on Lake Launch Party is free and open to the public, your RSVP helps ensure we provide the best experience possible for our guests!About Light on Lake: This summer, The Great Northern invited Minnesota-based artists to submit proposals for “Light on Lake,” a four-night public art experience that will transform East Lake Street into a large-scale moving projection installation. Our selected artists have created original artwork that will illuminate the walls and facades of East Lake Street businesses this winter. In addition to creating original work, our selected artists led community workshops this fall, inviting neighbors and community members to share stories and ideas which were incorporated into the final pieces.
