✨ Why Light & Liberation? As performers, community-builders and revolution-seekers, we invite you to join us for a night of welcoming in the light during a period of darkness. Let your whole self be transported by some of Tkaronto’s fierce and fabulous burlesque and drag performers coming together to harness our inner light during the darkness of an ongoing genocide, and support direct aid going to displaced Palestinian families.
🍉 Ticket proceeds will go to support Davenport Aid Brigade (DAB), a direct aid group based in Tkaronto who collect donations for humanitarian and medical supplies for displaced Palestinian families in Egypt and Gaza. Davenport Aid Brigade's volunteers in Egypt and Gaza meet with Palestinian families, assess their needs, and provide direct aid for food, rent, medical bills, and other expenses.
🍸 Ages 19+. Drinks will be available for purchase. Please tip your bar staff and performers!
🕯️ Merch including Hanukkah candles will be for sale with funds going to IfNotNow Toronto.
😷 Audience members are asked to bring and wear masks (masks can be momentarily removed when actively drinking). Some masks will be available on-site if needed.
🪑 Seating is limited and not guaranteed for all audience members, so please arrive early. If you require seating, we will do our best to accommodate you!
