Please join us on the Marion St. side of the Limestone County Courthose for an evening of fun culminating with both Mayor Marks and Chairman Daly presenting proclamations stating the month of April as Autism Acceptance Month, followed by the lighting of the courthouse blue to recognize it as such.Also, Chief Pressnell (Athens PD) will have a surprise to announce!
WE WILL GATHER AT THE COURTHOUSE STEPS AT 6:00 TO BEGIN PROCLAMATION READINGS AND PRESENTATIONS
We will have a mobile arcade bus provided by Zone Mobile Entertainment, the Lion's Club will have their train for the little ones and we will have free pizza/drinks and sno cones provided by Kona Ice! Athens Fire will be there with a truck, and Sheriff Mclaughlin will have their autism vehicle as well as Athens Police will have a car and the Make A Way Foundation will have their sensory bus available incase anyone gets overwhelmed. This is a FREE community event and we would love to see the community come out and support our families and celebrate the achievements that our kids work so hard to achieve throughout the year.
