About this Event
This Giving Day mini documentary premiers at 4 p.m. on Wednesday, March 25 in 1025 Brown Hall featuring WMU esteemed alumna Tiffany M. Moore and based on an interview with Moore by LA Times opinion columnist LZ Granderson, who is also a visiting scholar in the School of Communication. Moore’s college mentors and sorority sisters also help tell the story of Moore’s journey from the suburbs of Detroit to WMU, to her post-graduation leap to Washington D.C. For more than 30 years, Moore has worked with people on both sides of the aisle and across multiple perspectives to help shape public policy in the Halls of Congress, with several Presidential administrations, and with corporate and industry leaders, always intent on finding common ground on difficult issues. What’s made her a great leader is her genuine curiosity to learn from others who may think differently and her ability to build trust.
Three casual panels and a reception follow the screening.
Open to the public.
Free parking in the Miller Auditorium parking structure.
