Mark Hourahane will take a look at the plight of agricultural labourers in East Kent during the early 1800s, leading to the Swing Riots. The talk is based on Cathy Goodwin's new booklet, which will be available to purchase.
Doors open 6.30pm for a 7pm start. Admission is £5 (free to members). Refreshments will be served before the talk
