About this Event
Join us for a powerful community movie screening of Life of a King, starring Academy Award winner Cuba Gooding Jr., with a special live appearance by Eugene Brown — the real-life mentor whose powerful journey inspired the film.
In recognition of National Second Chance Month, Eugene Brown will lead a live community conversation sharing his journey from incarceration to mentorship, leadership and making better moves in life.
This free, one-night-only experience invites youth groups, returning citizens, and community leaders to come together for inspiration, reflection, and solution-driven dialogue.
This event is made possible through the support of our valued Community Partners — Ex-Cons Matter Foundation, EQV Brotherhood, Yes Chef Village, Big Chair Chess Club, and Why PR & Marketing — with media support brought to you by Defy Logic, What’s Your Goliath?
