About this Event
Fracking has rapidly spread across the Peace Region of British Columbia over the last two decades, ushering in dramatic changes to the health of its lands, waters and peoples.
This immersive, multimedia installation of sculpture, film, photography and the printed word invites viewers to imagine the tensions that arise from the intersection between the LNG industry and everyday lives in northern British Columbia—and in turn, our roles as bystanders.
Featuring the art of fifth-generation farmer and artist Karl Mattson and photographers from across northern BC.
Join us for opening remarks by Grand Chief Stewart Phillip, a reading from award-winning poet , and words from Mattson and the curator.
