ABOUT OUR DESIGNER & COLLECTION

As a fashion designer with a ceramic background, want to apply traditional ceramic techniques to modern clothing.

I hope that people can learn about traditional handicrafts and re-understand traditional aesthetics by wearing my porcelain garments.

I want to bring the aesthetics of our life into fashion, such as the muddy and warm working environmental and broken ceramic shards every corner.

I collect these aesthetics of life to design and develop my series.

Liwen Liang was from Jingdezhen, a city with a history spanning thousands of years in porcelain craftsmanship. This brand inherits ancient Chinese ceramic techniques, with its iconic product being porcelain fabric a fusion of ceramic and fabric remarkable for its lightness at 0.3mm thin. The backside of the ceramic features jersey or leather, providing flexibility and comfort.

I learn my crafts through my family and friends cause they are ceramic craftsman as well.

The cultural influence was mainly from my hometown city Jingdezhen, which is a famous porcelain city and I always got the inspiration from aesthetic of ceramic craftsman.

I up-cycled lots of traditional prints from industry waste and recreated the pattern to make it modern and chic.

I always had goals for my brand, I want to let more people know my culture and my community. And I want my customer feel strong and authentic. They would find anything is possible after they tried my porcelain dress.
