ROAR Life Drawing is a five-week guided course designed to help you build confidence and skills in drawing the human figure. Working with a professional tutor and live models, these sessions offer a structured introduction to the fundamentals of life drawing in a supportive and welcoming environment.
Across the five sessions you’ll explore key techniques such as observation, proportion, gesture, line, tone and composition. The tutor will guide you through a range of exercises and poses, helping you develop your ability to see and translate the human form onto the page. There will be demonstrations, practical tips and plenty of time to draw, experiment and ask questions.
This course is suitable for beginners who want to learn the basics, as well as those with some experience who would like to refresh their skills and spend focused time drawing from life. The atmosphere is relaxed and encouraging, with an emphasis on learning together and developing your own approach.
All you need to bring is your preferred drawing materials and an open mind. Come along to build your skills, deepen your understanding of the human form, and enjoy the rewarding practice of drawing from life.
Because the course is designed as a progressive five-week programme, spaces are booked for the full block rather than individual sessions. Unfortunately this means we’re not able to offer partial bookings or adjust the course fee if you’re unable to attend one or more sessions.
