Liesa Van der Aa is back with a new album. For those who do not confuse gentleness with weakness. For those who want to be moved, without explanation, with echoes of Laurie Anderson, intertwined with the early classics of James Blake and fragments of Billie Eilish and FKA Twigs. Electronics, contemporary classical, baroque, jazz and hip hop — 'Caramel' wears all these coats at once, as Van der Aa herself likes to describe it, casually layered on top of each other.
She is supported by ƔAZAL, the musical project of Michiel Van Cleuvenbergen, Frederik Meulyzer, Prisca - Agnes Nishimwe, and Matti Willems.
