ENGLISH BELOWHvornår bliver forelskelse til forblindelse?

ENGLISH:
When does infatuation turn into infatuation? Physical desire into obsession? And when does the unattainability of the other become a source of self-destruction?
‘Je veux la perfection de l'amour’
‘I want the perfection of love’ - Annie Ernaux
In the music and dance performance LIEBE (‘Love’), based on Getting Lost by Annie Ernaux, toaspern|moeller explores the many states of being in love - from illusory harmony to desperate dissonance.
Diary entries by Nobel Prize winner Annie Ernaux merge with choreography and song in a virtuoso performance that explores a desire born of distance. For the first time, dancer and choreographer Alma Toaspern and singer and composer Mathias Monrad Møller are on stage together, singing and dancing their way through a poetic set design by acclaimed set designer Christian Friedländer. Toaspern|moeller's innovative performance, combining contemporary dance with experimental music, illuminates the tension between mutual feelings and the desire born from the fact that the other is different from oneself. From heterosexual clichés to the touching, scary and comical.
