What happens when a lion shows up at the library and politely ignores all the rules?
Library Lion, based on one of Time Magazine’s 100 Best Children’s Books of All Time, comes to the stage in a beautifully crafted musical theater production designed especially for young audiences. The story follows a very unexpected library guest who joins story time, challenges rigid rules, and helps kids explore big ideas like kindness, courage, forgiveness, and understanding others.
This Boston premiere features a cast of five actors, live musicians, and a stunning lion puppet created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. It is warm, funny, and thoughtfully paced for kids while still giving adults plenty to appreciate.
