Save the date for Library After Hours Where Characters Come to Life on Saturday, April 25, 2026 from 7-10pm at the Waukegan Public Library. Step into a world where your favorite literary characters and authors come to life for one unforgettable evening. Guests are invited to come dressed as their favorite character or author and enjoy a night filled with fun and excitement, including a cash bar, appetizers, wine tasting, raffles, a character contest, and a live DJ featuring David Motley “Mosquito”. This special event also offers the chance to connect with fellow library supporters and learn more about the library’s plans for the future. Your attendance helps support teen workshops, adult education programs, and expanded community outreach, ensuring the library continues to provide vital resources and engaging experiences for everyone.
