Mon. Oct 21, 6pm – Libraries and Freedom of Access to Information – First Amendment Community Workshop #1 (of 3) – JMRL Central Library – 3rd Floor Swanson Room.
Join the Robert H. Smith Center for the Constitution at James Madison’s Montpelier, in partnership with the ACHS for an insightful discussion on the role libraries play in safeguarding citizens’ First Amendment rights. The workshop will address questions about free expression, emerging trends, and the importance of maintaining these democratic principles in an ever-evolving information landscape.
Two additional workshops will be held in December and February with details TBD.
