About the event
In this event, curator Anaïs Lellouche discusses to build a more democratic contemporary art world. The talk highlights personal and international ways of curating that support artists, particularly from non-Western locales, raising awareness of their work and the cultural contexts in which they operate. During the first part of the talk Lellouche shares insights on projects that shape her international curatorial practice. In the second part, we will address how institutions, private, nomadic and artist-run, play a vital role in expanding access to art. Finally, Lellouche will highlight the work of artists whose practices challenge power structures particularly in non-western contexts.
The event is free and open to the public.
Please register by March 6.
