The City of Bedford will plant a commemorative Tulip Poplar tree at Wilson Park on Friday, June 5, 2026 at 10:00 am. The Tulip Poplar, which represents the State of Indiana as its official tree, was selected to symbolize strength, growth and our shared heritage. This meaningful dedication will serve as a lasting tribute to our nation's history and a reminder of Bedford's pride and patriotism. In the event of inclement weather, a rain date is established for Monday, June 8th at 10:00am.
