🎣 Liberty Park Fishing Derby – Free Family Event! 🐟Join us for a fun morning of fishing at Liberty Park on Saturday, June 6, 2026, from 9:00 AM to Noon! This free event is open to kids of all ages and is a great opportunity to enjoy the outdoors, learn new skills, and create lasting memories. a limited amount of park fishing poles are available to borrow for the derby
Thanks to our partners at the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), the ponds will be freshly stocked with catfish and bluegill, giving young anglers a great chance to make a big catch!
🏆 Prizes will be awarded to the top 3 anglers in each age category, so bring your best fishing game!
Ages: 5-9 Years & 10-15 Years.
🎣 We also need your help!
We are looking for experienced anglers to volunteer during the event to assist kids with baiting hooks, casting, and learning the basics of fishing. If you’re interested in volunteering, we’d love to have you join us!
