Join us at Sugar Mouse on February 23rd, 2026, at 7:30 pm for a powerful Black History Month showcase that traces the journey of Black expression from struggle to triumph told through the lyricism of Black music legends!

Directed by Milan Parodie, music directed by Aidan Arbona, produced by Jamiel T Burkhart, in association with , this immersive show tells a story of pain, resilience, and glory through the electrifying art of step, blended with iconic Black music spanning generations. Each rhythm and movement reflects moments of hardship, resistance, joy, and victory that have shaped Black history and culture.

The soundtrack weaves through time, featuring the soul and spirit of legends like Ray Charles, Nina Simone, and Donny Hathaway, alongside the modern impact of artists such as Beyonce, John Legend, and Michael Jackson, lyrically connecting past and present through sound and movement. From gospel roots to soul, hip hop, and beyond, the music underscores a narrative of survival, creativity, and influence.

This is more than a performance. It is a celebration, a remembrance, and a testament to the enduring power of Black culture told through stomp, clap, voice, and beat.

Come witness history move.
