About this Event
WHO SHOULD ATTEND:
This workshop is aimed at artists, creatives & arts workers, whether freelance or an employee, at any level in the arts and creative sectors in Ireland.
LEARNING OUTCOMES:
This workshop is a fun and interactive learning session offering a comprehensive overview of LGBTQIA+ identity, terminology, and allyship.
A safe space is provided for people to ask questions, and we show how small changes in practice, policy, and approach can make a big difference for LGBTQIA+ colleagues, artists, and audiences.
In this session, we will discuss the current landscape for LGBTQIA+ communities, artists, and art workers, and explore how organisations and individuals can meaningfully support LGBTQIA+ inclusion and visibility.
This session is crucial for anyone who wants to lead confidently as an LGBTQIA+ ally or advocate in their work. Everyone can learn something here!
This will be an interactive session, with scenario work, discussion, and ample opportunities for Q&A.
In partnership with ShoutOut. Facilitated by Ruadhán O’Críodáin, Founder and Director of Shoutout.
