Bring a blanket or lawn chair and enjoy an evening of live music, food trucks, and local art vendors in one of Tallahassee’s most beautiful public spaces. It’s the perfect way to gather with friends, family, and neighbors while supporting local artists and downtown businesses. Beverages will be available for purchase at the Charlie Park bar on-site at the events.
BlackCat Zydeco is a high-energy zydeco band led by accordionist Dwight “The Black Cat” Carrier, deeply rooted in Louisiana’s Cajun and Creole musical traditions and infused with blues, country, and R&B influences. Carrier grew up playing zydeco and has toured nationally and internationally, sharing stages with fellow zydeco greats and bringing upbeat, dance-ready music to festivals and clubs. The band performs across the U.S. at festivals, dance halls, and special events, blending traditional Creole rhythms with party-ready grooves that celebrate Louisiana roots music.
