Part workshop, part practica, Level Up is where we nerd out about blues dancing while enjoying the afternoon in the coolest dance studio in Hollywood!For our workshop hour, this month's theme is "Connect Up!" The workshop surveys the full spectrum of partnering possibilities in blues dance. We'll dial in our fundamentals and expand into creative connections—unlocking more ways to listen, lead, move and groove with your partner. During practica, you'll dance with peers and experienced dancers who will offer feedback to help focus your skill development. Finally, we’ll invite you to film a partner dance to document your growth.
Your $20-$30 contribution* pays for studio space and facilitators' time. We’ll be accepting Venmo & cash at the door.
This workshop is intended for beg/int dancers who already have a good grasp of blues fundamentals and are looking to expand knowledge and level UP. Come ready to learn and share knowledge as a cohort!
