About this Event
This 2-day course is perfect for teachers and practitioners who want to learn more about how to take regular learning beyond the classroom. Our accredited Level 3 Award in Learning Beyond the Classroom qualification is delivered by experienced tutors and and combines theoretical and practical activities, as well as guidance for self-study ending in the submission of a portfolio.
Candidates will spend 2 days at Kendall CE Primary School, working through a series of 5 sessions, taking part in tutor-led workshops and practical activities in Kendall's stunning outdoor environment.

This course includes 10 guided learning hours followed by mentor support leading to the submission of a portfolio and is accredited by the Institute for Outdoor Learning. Many candidates go on to cascade learning to their colleagues and feel more confident in leading outdoor learning as a whole-school community.
Our feedback shows that 100% of previous candidates would recommend the course! On candidate reflected that, "The course has really made me think about ways that we can develop outdoor learning. It has become part of our longer term school development plan and we are currently working through a timescale of onboarding the staff."
