Would you like to learn more about self harm and support your service users in a more effective way?About this Event
Please join us for Self Harm training at Cafe 71 on 26th November 2025 10am-1.30pmThis will be taking place at Cafe 71 (71-77 St Anne Street, Chester CH1 3HT). This will be delivered by Spider Project Cafe 71 and Platform for Life staff.
Unfortunely, we cannot provide parking. However, there is close parking by Cafe 71.
Learning outcomes:
- Improve awarness of self harm and the key issues assosciated with self harm
- Consider ways to reduce stigma and discrimation
- Understands warning signs and sumptoms of emotional distress and self harm
- Understand the direct and wider impact of self harm
- Develop skills to respond to and support an individual distress
- Develop knowledge of evidence based brief interventions to support someone who self harms
- Understand the importance of recovery
- Enhance confidence, working practice, knowledge and skills.
