Our Level 1 Mountain Biking Basics class is designed to give you the confidence and core skills every rider needs.Led by PMBIA certified instructors at Coler Mountain Bike Preserve, this class covers bike safety checks, proper gear, the three essentials of mountain biking, riding positions, mounting and dismounting, braking techniques, shifting, and trail etiquette. You will learn how to control your bike, ride efficiently, and feel more comfortable on the trails.
This course is ideal for beginners or riders who have never had formal instruction and want to progress the right way from the start.
