About this Event
This is an in person interactive experience where you will learn how to make Kunafe, a traditional Middle Eastern dessert made with spun phyllo pastry called kataifi, typically layered with cheese, pistachio and a sugar based syrup called attar. You will also learn to make a savory garlic and cheese version. Both perfect to serve for the upcoming holiday season as an appetizer, side and dessert.
Sahtain Nunu’s Cooking experiences are perfect for anyone who wants to start cooking, loves to cook, or just wants to learn some new skills in the kitchen. It's also a great way to connect with new acquaintances while breaking bread, enjoying a fun afternoon sipping and noshing on Mediterranean yummyness.
- You will work with other students in groups of 4 to 5, sharing workstations and equipment.
- Hands-on classes are limited to 12-16 students.
- You will be standing, cooking and working for most of the class.
- All you need is yourself, your cooking spirit and I will take care of the rest.
