About this Event
Following the strong turnout and thoughtful contributions at our first event, Hartlepool’s Member of Parliament, Jonathan Brash, is inviting residents to our second Community Conversation. This session introduces a new, more interactive format designed to help everyone take part comfortably and meaningfully.
What’s new in this improved format
- Cabaret-style seating for easier conversation
Tables will be set out across the room so residents can sit in small groups. This helps create a relaxed, sociable atmosphere and makes it easier for everyone to take part. - Group discussion time
Groups will have time to talk through ideas, share experiences, and prioritise the topics that matter most to them before putting their question to Jonathan. - Small-group engagement with Jonathan
Jonathan will move between tables during the discussion period, giving residents more opportunity to speak with him directly in a smaller, more personal setting. - Combined with a wider town-hall Q&A
We will still include an open-floor Q&A so residents who wish to speak publicly can address the room and raise broader concerns. - Written-question option
For those who prefer not to speak, written questions can be submitted on arrival. These will be grouped by theme and included in the wider discussion. - Casework desk and feedback stations
A private casework desk will be available throughout the evening, and themed feedback boards will help shape future sessions.
This new format brings together the strengths of a town hall with the benefits of small-group discussion - giving residents more space to speak, listen, and work together on Hartlepool’s priorities.
Booking is required - please register for your ticket.
