$Let\u2019s Dance$

Hello. I am Teresa Blee and have been teaching Ballet classes in the Helston and Porthleven area for over 40 years, and Silver Swans ballet for 8 years. This year I am taking part in the Let's Dance initiative set up by Angela Rippon, to encourage all ages to Dance!
As well as great entertainment, dance really is the best form of exercise that you can do, regardless of your age, for the health and well-being of your mind and body. It's also a very social way to get fit. The aims of Let's Dance are:
To raise awareness of the benefits of dance for mental and physical health
To make it easier for people to join in whatever their age, fitness level or experience and
To bring people together in their local community through dance
It is an excellent way to combat loneliness and spend time with people you would not normally meet. It is something that you can do to get fit, meet new friends and have a great time.
