Nova Express is thrilled to announce this special book release event with esteemed poet, Richelle Lee Slota. Join us as we raise visibility and celebrate our community with a live reading and special musical performance by jazz guitarist, Luke Schwartz.
In Letters to My Dead Name, Richelle Slota both grieves and celebrates the death of a mother, a gender, and a way of being. Her stunningly visceral takes on the traditional nostalgia poem will have you enraptured by her embodiment of rhythm and her emotional honesty. Copies of book will be available for purchase with signing by the author. Light refreshments and tea will be available. Doors are at 4pm, event starts at 5pm. RSVP is required for each guest, space is limited. One flight of stairs required to access space.
