Open Table Faith has invited some wise friends to share learning and lived experience that can help us have mentally healthier holidays. We'll cover things that often hang us up when it comes to big days and large family gatherings -- like the pull of nostalgia & the weight of expectation; the clash of differing political positions and evolving belief systems. We'll offer some brain science that helps us better understand ourselves -- and the chance to practice a different way of dealing.
It's all real talk for real-life relationships! ...It's also an hour to gather and breathe deep, to share hopes and set our best intentions.
This is a free event. Find us on the First Christian Church campus, in the Life Center building. Enter through the smaller, south-side doors, where you'll see the Open Table Faith banner.
