Let's Talk About How to Make Low Budget Films in VancouverA practical, in-person project tracking + mastermind incubator for filmmakers and producers focused on making low-budget features actually happen—with a specific lens on the $300,000 CAD budget level (and how to scale up/down from there).
This is not a lecture series. Each meeting blends group discussion and structured “next-step” commitments so participants leave with a real plan—with the hope that the other motivated filmmakers in the group will help each other move to the next stage of your project.
We’ll cover the fundamentals of low-budget producing (strategy, schedules, assumptions, crew design, and hard trade-offs), and each person will bring their own project to the group and see if it can be made.
The first meeting will be a discussion on past films as models and inspiration, and what you want to make (if you have a project, you are still welcome to come if you don't).
