Let's Make Tamales!!! We are so excited about this NEW class!We will start you off with some Mexican Rice and Soup as your starter! Chef Jill will teach you how to make the masa, which you will do in groups. She will then demo how to assemble the tamales and then she will set you loose! Each team takes home a dozen UNCOOKED tamales. Due to time...Chef Jill will serve tamales that she made ahead of time. You will have the choice of red or green salsa to enjoy them with.
Cost of Event: $70/person + tax
Our Airbnb, where the cooking class will be located, is connected to our main event center, the west side. We will have special signage leading you in. Our farm retail shop, Granny Fay's Shop, will be open before the class starts from 6 - 6:25pm. Our farm shop is located in the red front building, right next to our courtyard. Doors for the class will open at 6:15pm. Class will start at 6:30pm.
Please park in our main, large parking lot, or in front of the shop.
Must have reservations. Reservations preferred by Sunday, Feb. 16th, so the Chef has time to prepare and get supplies! If tickets still show available online, then we still have spaces available, even if it is after that date. If you are sitting with another party and would like to sit together, please let us know! *We do have to have a minimum number of people to host the class. If for any reason WE need to cancel or reschedule, you will be given the option of a refund or move your reservation to another class.
