About this Event
We would love for you to come and help us make some art! No experience needed - we'll be collaging with expert artist Storm in a Teacup
At Open Table Exeter, we want to collectively create some art, like the works we had on display at Pride, in the hope of exhibiting it in the future as a thoughtful and beautiful art piece or for you to take home for your own walls.
We have space for 20-30 people to come and collage with us. No experience needed and all materials provided by the lovely Lisa www.facebook.com/storminateacupartistpage/
The collaging will be quotes that we have gathered at Exeter Pride on 9th May of people who answered the question:
What does Pride mean to you?
We want you to answer this question too - if you would like.
We want to lovingly create this work as a collective - modelling the universal love found in these quotes as we create - as important a concept as the thoughts depicted in the art itself.
During the exhibition that we hope to deliver, we will then ask people to reflect on the quotes and think about why Pride has had such a profound impact on people all around the world.
