About this Event
Join us for a slow, creative Sunday morning of cyanotype sun printing at Boardroom. We’ll be making functional art using botanicals, sunlight, and coffee nearby to keep things cozy and relaxed.
Cyanotype is a historic printing process that creates rich blue and white prints using UV light. Morning sun gives us the best results, so this class is all about easy printing, deeper blues, and a calm flow.
You’ll create cyanotype prints on cotton tea towels and have time to play with layouts on scrap fabric while your pieces are processing. No experience needed. This is meant to feel fun, approachable, and a little brunch adjacent.
Ticket options include $40 for one 18 x 18 tea towel or $55 for two 18 x 18 tea towels. All materials are included, along with guided instruction, botanicals, scrap fabric for experimenting, and on site rinsing and reveal. Aprons will be provided.
This is an outdoor, sun based process, so wear clothes you do not mind getting a little wet. Coffee and brunch items will be available for purchase from Boardroom.
